La Gomera, with its varying and beautiful landscape, suits both the avid and occasional walker. It has specially indicated trails which guide the tourist around its exciting countryside, mountains and national park, the views being especially rewarding.

Here are some of the main trails:

Cruz de Tierno to Vallehermoso (passing through Cano Rock)
This trail is 4.640m long and takes approx. 1hr and 45mins to complete.

Vallehermoso to the Santa Clara Hermitage and Arguamul
This trail is 7.600m long and takes approx. 3hrs to complete.

Arure to Valle Gran Rey (passing through Llanos de la Mérica)
This trail is 7.330m long and takes approx. 2hrs and 30mins to complete.

Alajeró to Arguayoda and La Rajita
This trail is 12.515m long and takes approx. 4hrs to complete.

Agando Rock to Playa de Santiago (passing through Benchijigua)
This trail is 11.800m long and takes approx. 4hrs to complete.

El Cedro to El Convento in Hermigua
This trail is 3.880m long and takes approx. 1hr 30mins to complete.

La palmita to Agulo
This trail is 4.500m long and takes approx. 2hrs to complete.

To learn more about the wildlife and the countryside, a visit to the visitor centre is highly recommended:

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 09:30 – 16:30, closed on Monday.
The entrance is free.
The visitor centre is located between Vallehermoso and Agulo.
